Kinetic Perception
Yaacov Agam heard colors. I photographed what happens when the eye begins to listen.
Created through repeated visits to the Yaacov Agam Museum in Rishon LeZion, Kinetic Perception is a photographic interpretation of Agam’s world, where color, rhythm and movement behave almost like a visual score.
The series shifts the focus from the kinetic object to the viewer’s shifting perception. As the viewer moves, form dissolves and reconstitutes - seeing becomes kinetic, and the visual begins to resonate.
