Beyond the Moment
A direct continuation of the series Fatalism, which explores absolute determinism, Beyond the Moment isolates the micro-interactions within the timeline, translating the causal chain into visual form.
Contrary to the tradition of "the decisive moment," this series recognizes that no single instance is definitive. Within infinity, every moment is an inevitable consequence of the first, the Big Bang, and the sole progenitor of all that follow. Time, decision, and consequence unfold as the only sequence that could have occurred. Nothing could have been otherwise.
Inspired by the motion studies of Ernst Haas, the blurring and dissolving of figures within urban geometry are not distortions of reality. They are the most faithful testament to the continuous and inescapable flow of existence.
There is nothing new under the sun. Nothing could have been otherwise.
