My name is Ran Rosen, I make photographs with still life. I photograph art installations that I build in my studio, photographs through which I express my thoughts, ideas and passions and the world in my mind's eye. The installations are made of items that I create in combination with items that I find in flea markets and sometimes also with items that I find thrown on the street, items in which I see a reflection of my thoughts.​

My experiences and thoughts are embroidered in my photos. When I look through the camera lens I discover a special world that is beyond reality, I discover the inner soul that I can only see through the lens, a soul that I reveal in my photographs. When I look at my works, I have never asked myself: "Is this art?" Instead I ask: "Do they have a soul?" That is enough for me.
