Time (further reading)

Time has always fascinated me.

It is the fourth dimension, alongside length, width and height, yet it remains invisible.

In Einstein’s general theory of relativity, our world is described as a curved space defined by four dimensions: length, width, height and time.

Should we be able to see the time axis, perhaps we would be able to see ourselves simultaneously in the present, the past, and the future.

This idea reinforces my belief that all of time may already be fixed from the moment of the Big Bang; though it is beyond human ability to recognize it, the future is already determined. I try to express this notion in my series “Fatalism.”

Some physicists suggest that one day we may learn to move through time, backward or forward, just as we move through space.
