Deconstructing Cézanne
In this series, I translate the iconic, two-dimensional post-impressionist still-life and figurative paintings of Paul Cézanne into physical, three-dimensional studio sets. Through precise mathematical lighting and spatial construction, the images question the boundaries between painting and photography, reality and staging, freezing the master's brushstrokes into a silent, photographic continuum.
